What you will be doing:

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our Consumer sales and growth targets. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential through forecasting, managing quotas and other sales operations. Day-to-day management includes hiring, training and developing talent and evaluating and adjusting performances.

- Achieve and exceed growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members, reducing friction in the sales process so they are more productive and successful
- Present realistic, detailed and accurate sales forecasts to the leadership team. Own sales operations: overall process & procedures and Consumer ownership of Salesforce and our Order Management System (OMS)
- Develop team structure that expands our customer base and efficiencies. Develop individual quotas and assign accounts, agencies and/or territories
- Own sales recruiting, KPI setting, coaching and performance monitoring of account executives and sales planning
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products, solutions and competition status
- Assess current team processes through data and analytics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
- Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment

Qualifications & Requirements
- Successful previous experience (5 years minimum) as an advertising sales account executive and sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Proven ability to develop, present and directly sell through high level media strategy and marketing plans to C-Level clients & advertising agency teams
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Demonstrated ability to communicate sales forecasting and growth opportunities using data to drive decisions, credibly and effectively, at all levels of the organization
- Solid understanding of advertising and direct marketing performance metrics, and a firm grasp on media research tools and how and when to most effectively use them
- Excellent people leadership, mentoring, coaching and management skills
- Digital & mobile sales experience is required. Agency experience a plus
- Programmatic, video and/or international sales experience is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce.com, Google sheets/slides or Excel and media order management systems (OMS) required
- Committed to continuous education as both an individual contributor and team leader through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Where comfortable, willingness to travel, as needed, for client meetings and/or industry events
