Job Description
Manager, Asset Management Services Pricing

Primary contact for Enterprise Services business unit within the Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) division. As part of operations team, responsible to execute tactical pricing for the Global Asset Management product line (NAM and EMEA), ensuring accurate pricing to customers and costs from third party suppliers. Provide direction and support for team by establishing processes, procedures and serving as coach. Partner with Marketing to develop pricing strategy and works with data analytics function, Finance and Sourcing to define ways to improve profitability from OEMs and suppliers. As needed, interface with customers on escalations and specific customer needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead team of pricing coordinators to execute on defined pricing strategy that aligns with good business practices. Supervise team in a manner consistent with our organizational culture, based on four values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement with open communication. Actively seek development opportunities for team members and self. Promote a friendly environment, good morale and cooperation.
  • Create constant and reliable measures/KPIs to benchmark function and optimize performance on an ongoing basis. Meet such performance metrics set for the team with respect to annual pricing process and additions of assets throughout the year. Reinforce a customer focused orientation for team.
  • Manage and develop team in a positive manner, including professional development, recruiting, corrective action and performance reviews.
  • Evaluate employees’ training needs, identify possible solutions and arrange for needed training and development. Ensure that employees are cross trained and develops employees to create a career path and succession plan.
  • Ensure customer needs are met with respect to entire pricing process and function, including timely completion of annual price rolls
  • Identify SOPs and Work Instructions. Identify any gaps to fill.
  • Ensure solid alignment between Field operations team, Commercial and Finance.
  • Seek to drive operational efficiency within pricing function with focus on driving standardization and operational excellence within pricing function.
  • Lead team to understand and utilize PPI Business System methodology/tools to improve productivity and drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a supervisory/management role
  • Proven experience completing tasks within matrixed environment; strong business and financial background preferred
  • Must possess the leadership and supervisory skills be able to lead, coach, influence and motivate a group of employees along with excellent interpersonal skills to relate well to employees, various levels of the customer business and peers.
  • Must possess strong analytical and critical thinking ability to be able to evaluate, interpret information and procedures, to make timely decisions while functioning in a fast-paced, changing work environment
  • Proven skills in managing multiple concurrent issues and prioritizing staff workloads
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills; including experience in writing SOP’s and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external customers; strong interpersonal skills required
  • Detail oriented with ability to learn quickly and work independently/cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. •
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, internet search engines, CRM and ERP experience desirable
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
