Job Description
Office Coordinator
SeatGeek is growing quickly as the world dives back into live events. We’re scaling quickly as a company and have even bigger plans ahead of us. While exciting, this means our Office Ops team needs to grow and scale, too.

We’re looking for an Office Coordinator to provide support and energy as we return to our NYC office and design a true hybrid work environment. The NYC office is using a phased approach to a Return to Office (“Invite,” “Encourage,” and “Expect.”). Currently we are in the “Encourage,” stage, and expectations for this role would be to spend at least 3 days in the office each week until we reach “Expect,” at which point it would be a full-time workplace role. 

What you’ll do (Immediately, in our “Encouraged” Return to Office stage)
-Assist with Office Ops as we ramp-up our employee attendance. (Think: amenities tracking/purchasing, facilities management, and events, as well as other team initiatives)
-Work with HR & IT to ship new employees their startup equipment (and SWAG!) to make sure their day 1 experience is seamless
-Provide scheduling and general administrative support to various team leaders
-Manage company calendars and meeting room schedules and proactively identify and solve for potential scheduling conflicts

What you’ll do (Down the road, when we reach our final “Expected” Return to Office stage)
-Run the front desk & guest operations. Greet guests, clients and interviewees, smiling and making them feel at home 
-Ensure cleanliness and professionalism of reception and lobby area, and continually look for ways to improve our front-of-house procedures
-Serve as a point of contact for visiting remote employees and event guests
-Receive and notify employees of incoming mail and packages, and assist with outgoing shipments
-Support internal team meetings with catering orders and room setups

Who you are
-Someone with 1-2 years of experience
-Ambitious, bright and intellectually curious. You love teaching yourself new things and you’re naturally driven to be the best at what you do
-Friendly and professional. You take pride in your ability to cultivate a fun and inviting office atmosphere, and a willingness to engage with guests to make them feel welcome (this is not a job for introverts!)
-Extremely organized and detail-oriented. For you, things like misuse of “your” vs “you’re” and unfiltered inboxes are the stuff of nightmares
-Skilled with Google Docs and a familiarity or willingness to learn other project management systems
-Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a particular emphasis on succinctness and clarity (and when the moment calls for it, finding that perfect gif)
