Logistics and Facilities Coordinator (Part Time)
Founded in 2002, Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build strong, stable and secure military families. Operation Homefront is sourcing candidates for a Part Time Logistics and Facilities Coordinator position in San Antonio, TX.

The Logistics and Facilities Coordinator will assist the Manager, Logistics and Facilities with office reorganization through furniture and equipment moves, assist with mail room duties such as creating shipments, sorting, and delivering parcels, and assist to maintain, repair, and renovate the physical HQ office environment to include using tools and managing contractor relationships. This position will also assist the Manager, Logistics and Facilities with warehouse operations as needed.

Desired candidates will have:

High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience managing facilities and/or experience working in warehouse environment preferred
Forklift Certification a plus
Valid Driverís License
MS Office Programs Software experience preferred
Transportation and Shipping Software experience preferred
Accounting Software experience preferred
General Office and Sedentary: Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Manual dexterity, ability to reach, bend, and use 2-step stool while safely lifting and lowering boxes up to 50 pounds. Ability to adapt quickly to unexpected changes, deadlines or organizational needs. Ability to drive a motor vehicle and travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business related events. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.

Warehouse: Ability to exert a heavy degree of physical effort including carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking and assisted lifting of objects and materials up to 100 pounds; specific vision abilities include close vision and distance vision; moderate exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, odors, humidity, temperature and noise extremes, wetness and vibrations.

Primary job duties include:

Assisting with Field Office inventory, donation receipts, distribution acknowledgement, and accounting verification
Handling in-kind shipments and inbound/ outbound shipment processing for San Antonio office to include care packages, volunteer t-shirts, packages, laptops, equipment, toys, and other items
Replenishing office supplies in San Antonio HQ office
Assist with office reorganization and equipment moves as well as setting up offices for events such as First Friday, training sessions, and other events
Provide support to warehouse operations as needed by the Manager, Logistics and Facilities
Other duties as assigned
