About Operation Homefront:
Founded in 2002, Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so that they can thrive – not simply struggle to get by – in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. As one of the largest charities focused on supporting military families, we deliver our impact across three key areas: Relief (through financial assistance and transitional housing programs), Resiliency (through permanent housing and caregiver support services), and Recurring family support programs and services available throughout the year. We help military families overcome short-term challenges, so they do not become long-term problems. Operation Homefront is a top-rated charity, consistently earning high ranks from leading charity rating services.

Additionally, this position will support the development and implementation of Operation Homefront’s new diversity and inclusion strategy. All interns will complete and present a brief post-internship report on their experiences, which will be shared with key Operation Homefront staff and partners, as well as senior leadership. Interns will complete weekly reports on their activity to be submitted to their supervisors.
