The Associate Director, Sales Analytics (Nephrology) will be a proactive analytical business partner helping sales leadership with both planning (customer valuation and targeting) as well in pull through (performance and effectiveness)
The primary responsibilities of this role, Associate Director, Sales Analytics (Nephrology), are to -
Be well versed in pharmaceutical industry wide best practices around personal sales promotions including,
Evaluate and segment based on customer potential and other relevant attributes (both and national and sub-national level)
Create well balanced, sub-national geographic sales regions based on customer potential and other valuation drivers.
Develop, deploy, and maintain target lists of customers (call plans)
Lead in the development of all sales force alignments as well as in the creation of all Pharmaceutical Sales call plans and targeting efforts in close coordination with sales leadership and operations teams.
Lead and manage across a variety of people, processes, and systems that interact with customer alignments and targeting, both within and outside of Sales Operations in ensuring their proper deployment.
Manage and maintain up-to-date targeting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and workflow processes and oversee adherence to same.
Function as a proactive, consultative business partner who works with key sales stakeholders to inform business decisions through rigorous analyses and actionable insights at the sub-national level.
Manage metrics and key performance indicators at a sub-national level in close coordination with sales operations.
Develop and operationalize sub-national reporting as needed to help sales leadership.
Coordinate with brand analytics team in assessing promotional pull through at sub-national level as well as in enabling omni-channel efforts.
Effectively interact with all levels within the organization, key stakeholders, internal departments which include - but are not limited to - sales and marketing management, co-promotion partners for the nephrology business franchise
Effectively interact and manage business process development and analytical work with external vendors
Minimum of a BA/BS degree is required.
Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience in analytics focused role.
Proven team and project leadership skills, and ability to work independently.
Minimum 3 years of market research experience (primary and secondary - various databases- marketed and developmental products) in the Pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of and experience applying good targeting and alignment practices is required.
Minimum 2 years' experience / knowledge of sales operations, training, marketing, or another similar department is needed.
Experience / knowledge of working in Matrix Management Structure with Project Management, Coordination and People Management in a Team environment
Strong analytical/quantitative skills and knowledge (database tools, MS
Experience with data reporting tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI etc.
- Post graduate degree in business, life science desired
