A Principal Engineer/Architect is a hands-on, resourceful, innovative, pragmatic individual with strong business acumen and functional experience to design, implement and support the delivery of core products and product components for the Coupa application suite.

Capable of working under minimal direction and exercising considerable latitude, they will provide technical expertise in developing solutions to complex software engineering problems, which require frequent use of ingenuity and creativity.

Experienced in designing application framework solutions, performing architectural analysis, and identifying issues and providing solutions for the business problems.

Sound functional knowledge of application architecture in Enterprise and Spend Management domains including distributed service architecture, code modularity, data synchronization, customizable workflow management, partner application integration and API developer frameworks.
