Job Description
Accounting Associate III
SRI International is an independent, non-profit research institute, delivering unique, scientist-driven solutions for the world’s important challenges. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our AR team to work remotely. This position will analyze and bill government and/or commercial contracts, ensuring they are in agreement with SRI policy and FAR/DFAR clauses.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing bi-weekly and monthly invoices (CPFF, T&M, and Fixed Price) for government and/or commercial contracts and grants
Submitting invoices according to contractual terms
Researching and resolving past due invoices
Performing billed and unbilled analysis and coordinating resolution
Assisting with audit requests
Interacting with external and internal customers to resolve invoicing issues
Interfacing with various government websites for inquiry and grant drawdowns
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma
1-3 years professional/business experience
Working knowledge of invoicing policies and procedures
Ability to compile, analyze, reconcile, and maintain accurate financial records
Experience using Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel knowledge
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency is required
Desired qualifications:
Knowledge of government collection systems
Knowledge of Deltek’s Costpoint billing module
Billing experience
Intangible abilities:
Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communications skills with solid problem-solving skills
The ability to work well independently and as part of a team

For Colorado residents, the salary range is: $39,184 - $64,895
