UHealth IT Liaison Manager
About This Position

The department of UHealth IT has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time IT Clinical Liaison Manager. The job description of an IT Clinical Liaison Manager involves establishing a relationship between IT and UHealth faculty and staff. The IT Clinical Liaison Manager serves as an advocate for staff at all clinical operations. This position will help elevate communication from the clinical and IT departments.
Establishes communication with faculty and staff and IT.
Communicates with department leads to understand current issues.
Interacts with a variety of hospital staff from different departments.
Assesses IT issues affecting the office and reports it accordingly.
Reviews new and pending incidents.
Determines whether an issue needs to be reported or if it is being addressed.
Explains the process for IT to acknowledge and address the issue.
Coordinates with healthcare facility staff to ensure that each staff member has a smooth transition through incident creation and resolution.
Trains new employees who serve as Clinical Liaison.
Coordinates communication between staff, physicians, and IT Support.
Develops relationships in the community on behalf of the IT department.
Schedules speaking engagements at interdepartmental team huddles.
Works with the facility’s marketing and communication team to bring awareness of the facility’s strengths and services into the community at large.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office).
Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Must be customer service oriented.
Experience working in the healthcare industry.
Must have experience with general IT troubleshooting.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Must be an active listener.
Experience in team management.
Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge of incident creation.
Must have knowledge of electronic health records.
Must have excellent organizational skills and be an effective time manager and multi-tasker.
