Director of Collaboratory for Strategic Partnerships and Applied Research

The Department of Engineering at Messiah University currently has an opening for a full-time Director of the Collaboratory for Strategic Partnerships and Applied Research.

Responsibilities: This position will join the leadership team in the Department of Engineering to oversee all aspects of the Collaboratory, including curricular innovation, donor development, strategic planning, and day-to-day operations. The Collaboratory provides learning opportunities for students through technical/engineering-focused projects that meet the needs of our partners in missions and others serving under-privileged communities.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Engineering or related field; experience in organizational leadership, ministry/missions, or in the engineering field.

Skills and Characteristics: The department is seeking individuals capable of inspiring others in mission; sparking innovation; relating to our international partner communities; ability to encourage collaboration across disciplines to solve technical problems requiring holistic solutions, particularly those encountered in mission and humanitarian environments.

Must be fully vaccinated as it is required for international travel.
