About the Opportunity:
The Security Engineer will have a passion for managing corporate security and store security. This role is responsible for the planning, design, installation, operation, and maintenance of a broad suite of information security systems, and will assist with coordination, investigation, and reporting of security incidents. This individual will work with Information Technology staff and business units to assess risk, address security issues, and enhance organizational information security awareness in accordance with defined IT Security policies, procedures, and standards.
Manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, proxy systems, logging, endpoint security solutions, and other security devices, applications, or resources.
Define security requirements and review systems to determine if they have been designed to comply with established security standards. Develop new standards as necessary.
Assist in the enforcement and monitoring of compliance regulations.
Raise awareness of security policies and develop corresponding procedures.
Analyze business needs, research and recommend solutions.
Create and review reports on event anomalies.
Investigate and respond to security incidents and violations.
Provide security expertise to the company.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
This position is a member of the corporate Security Operating Committee.
CISSP certification is preferred. Security+, CEH, CCSP, or CCNP Security certifications are desirable.
Proficiency with one or more scripting languages and implementing automation.
Familiarity with PCI and SOX compliance requirements.
Understanding of risks in Retail.
