Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate all areas for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
• Manage Area Leader performance to achieve production KPI's by monitoring the following: Planned vs. actual - Process defects - Cost management - loss, labor cost.
• Maximize Machine output times to drive productivity.
• Perform Safety Audits in each area and ensure all safety features are functioning, such as safety gate and all other safeguards.
• Drive the reduction of defective parts through sustaining the best production conditions promoting corrective actions.
• Manage and sustain Buffer Levels in all areas.
• Participate in training new associates when required and mentor, guide, and coach associates as needed.
• Assist in managing Inventory Control when required.
• Perform other duties, as required by the Part Leader or Group Leader.

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3 years in production, Associate Degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years' experience in a Supervisory Role and / or Leadership Role.
• Knowledge of manufacturing Processes.
• Excellent Communication skills (Verbal and Written), Problem Solving Ability, MS Office, and ERP Systems (GMES-PM/RM/SAP).
• Frequently required to stand and walk, must occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds, Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
