Senior Lead Analytics Consultant – Commercial Banking Sales Reporting and Analytics

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant in Commercial Banking as part of the Sales Reporting & Analytics group. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive Sales Reporting and Analytics including but not limited to coverage, pipeline, forecasting, conversion, win/loss, opportunity analysis, performance monitoring reporting, management reporting, sales rep productivity analysis among others
  • Partner with sales leaders, sales managers and sales relationship managers to deliver data-driven solutions and insights, including customer prospecting, lead generation, cross selling, share-gain analytics, ad-hoc analysis, defining key measurable process and metrics, leveraging both internal and external 3rd party data
  • Provide robust analytics and insights by using mathematical, statistical, and computational tools
  • Advise experienced leadership to develop or influence statistical modeling, analytical strategies, and advanced data visualization for complex business and technical needs
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques, advance data from multiple sources, and mathematics behind data analysis across the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and coordination of highly complex activities
  • Design and lead complex projects, analyses, and application of techniques across the enterprise
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise
  • Engage with peers, managers risk, compliance, managers across the enterprise, and serve as an expert advisor to leadership team

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling, Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Commercial Banking experience, preferably in Customer/Sales/Marketing Analytics
  • 7+ years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools
  • Experience in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik etc.
  • Excellent visualization skills and advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to discuss and understand business needs/wants with non-technical people
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with high attentional to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and integrate data driven and analytical decision making for product and service operational activities
  • Knowledge and understanding of database management, reporting, and analysis functions
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications

Pay Range

  • All Posted Locations (Except San Francisco) Pay Range: $96,600.00 - $171,800.00 Annually
  • CA-San Francisco Pay Range: $115,900.00 - $206,100.00 Annually

Salary range is determined by location of the job.

May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards.
