PSO Program Manager

Job Description

What will you do?


The Product & Systems Security Office (PSO) is the central global organization responsible for defining the product & systems security posture for Schneider Electric. The PSO is looking for an experienced Program Manager who can work with our security offices, R&D, and business teams, to create, lead, and represent our cybersecurity objectives. The PSO has several projects and programs for continuous improvement (e.g. SBOM, etc.) which globally increase the maturity of our people, processes, products, software, and systems. The role includes the effective management of project definition, setup, management, target setting and performance control.


The PSO Program Manager is a global role reporting to the PSO Deputy Product Security Officer (VP). The Program Manager will be working in collaboration globally with the other PSO teams, business security officers, business security advisors, product and system development engineering teams, IT cybersecurity teams, legal teams, customers, and governments.

The Program Manager will:

  • Facilitate strategic, operational, and implementation activities to assure that management is knowledgeable of process, goals, objectives, and strategies
  • Lead and run projects of all sizes (small to large) in addition to programs
  • Formulate, organize, coordinate, and monitor inter-connected projects
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities
  • Apply change, risk, and resource management
  • Evaluate and assess the programs’ strengths and weaknesses
  • Monitor projects and overseeing project managers to ensure goals are met
  • Meet with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals
  • Lead program, project, and steering committees
  • Monitor, coordinate, document, and communicate progress toward achievement of business goals, objectives, strategies, and action plan results

What qualifications will make you successful? 

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Masters preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience required. 2+ years as a program manager preferred.
  • 3+ years of software development and engineering experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of key topics in Cybersecurity such as IT Security, OT Security, Vulnerability Management, Risk Management, Incident Response, Penetration Testing, Quality assurance.
  • IEC62443, OT, and Cloud knowledge preferred.
  • Experience running a project with team members and stakeholders dispersed across several continents.
  • Experience in international organization, leading international teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to identify issues/risk, analyze and understand underlying causes and devise appropriate action plans.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, including internationally.
