Job Description
Lead Technology Operations Analyst

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Operations Analyst to work on enterprise-wide engagement/support for all Cryptographic Engagement & Support solutions. The position will develop specific recommendations based on results of analyses. Conduct research and create reports and presentations on findings. Conduct due diligence and other analyses.  Position works closely with application owners, Information Security Architecture (ISA), engineering/infrastructure teams and vendors to select and implement optimum solution for a particular application use-case.  Candidate will work to coordinate and support current automation of existing solutions.

The position champions continuous improvement, including devising new strategies and new opportunities. Set and measure performance standards for the team and ensure operations achieve or exceed performance metrics. Direct the daily Risk and Control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success; re-engineering and driving continual service improvement. Interact with customers (internal / external) to meet process deliverables.  This position collaborates with business and product owners in addition to focusing on technical deliveries. Analyze requirements and provide development estimates across project and BAU activities. Develop action and implementation plans and modify as needed to ensure timely and accurate implementation of products or improvements.

In this role, you will:

  • Guide complex technology projects with broad impact for the business
  • Act as key participant in the plan development for Technology Operations
  • Analyze complex technical operations challenges which require in-depth evaluation
  • Conduct research and create reports and presentations on findings
  • Lead the development of process and operational improvements
  • Be the liaison with the onshore team and ensure communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore team
  • Ensure quality and security of the solutions and address remediation's as needed
  • Champion continuous improvement, including devising new strategies and new opportunities
  • Set performance standards for the team and ensure operations achieve or exceed performance metrics
  • Direct the daily Risk and Control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success; re-engineering and driving continual service improvement
  • Make decisions based on the understanding of the requirements that influence projects
  • Lead teams to meet deadlines and drive new initiatives
  • Review, approve, and implement recommended changes to plans
  • Collaborate and consult with employees to resolve initiatives and achieve technology directives
  • Act as a mentor for individuals

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Technology Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience using ticket tracking tools for change management, problem and incident management, and availability management, demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • 3+ years of experience creating pivot tables and performing data analysis in Excel
  • 1+ year of JIRA experience
  • 1+ year of SharePoint and Wikis experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Practical agile methodology experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology: encryption technology and encryption key management 
  • Capable of negotiating diplomatically and delivering target outcomes
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills with both Business and Technical/Engineering audience
  • Capability to deliver business/technical presentations effectively
  • 1+ year of Microsoft Visio experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework
  • 5+ years of application production support experience
  • 5+ years of experience in production supporting, including problem identification, ticket documentation, and customer/vendor relations
  • 2+ years of Agile experience
