Job Description
Staff Technical Product Analyst

Ethicon is recruiting for a Technical Product Analyst, located in Cincinnati, OH.

This position will work with internal and external teams to develop and implement cloud-based data processing solutions. They will create and customize technical solutions for teams based on business needs as well as investigate new technologies and apply them to franchise programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops the product roadmap in collaboration with technical and franchise teams required for optimal processing of data from a wide variety of data sources using Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
  • Ensure Product operational reliability, aids in helping to diagnose and coordinate fix with the cross functional franchise teams and platform team for new and existing bugs in the data pipeline reported by users
  • Identify the opportunity areas for process and data pipeline improvement
  • Business advocacy: Partner with enterprise technology teams to influence platform roadmaps and enable required capabilities within the data pipeline.
  • Drives software development through typical lifecycle phases including requirements generation, architecture, design, implementation, review, validation, and documentation.
  • Monitor the data pipeline to provide actionable insights about efficiency, performance, overall health, and partner with the cross functional teams to improve and maintain.
  • Master and manage enterprise compliance & validation processes to build secure, high-quality solutions
  • Maintains accurate documentation and records
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate successes and impact across business and technology functions
Qualifications & Requirements


  • 6 years of related work experience with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field OR 4 years of related work experience with a Master’s degree in a related field.


Experience and Skills:


  • Experience with a variety of programming languages and applications (e.g. Python, JavaScript, C ) and knowledge of common software engineering paradigms such as object-oriented programming and Dev Ops

  • Experience with SQL and database management using platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server and Postgres

  • Experience managing projects using the Agile methodology



  • Experience developing cloud-based solutions hosted on platforms such as Microsoft Azure

  • Experience working with orchestration and containerization solutions such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Virtual Machines

  • Experience with big data processing tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka

  • Experience developing back-end web services using frameworks such as Django and Flask

  • Experience with database driven Rest APIs

  • Familiarity with SDLC methodology and GxP systems validation


  • Travel up to 10%
