Role Description:


The Manager, Sales Analytics is responsible for supporting the design and implementation of analytics and reporting to uncover trends and identify insights. This individual will be responsible for developing actionable analytics for IMM sales leadership (Vice President of Sales, National Sales Directors). He/she will be responsible for accurate and timely delivery of subnational analytics partnering with senior leadership by establishing and following efficient processes.  He/she will report into and collaborate with the Commercial Excellence (CE) team, will understand brand Marketing opportunities, and will work with business partners to identify and resolve issues. This is an exciting assignment and calls for an individual with analytical approach, strong project management capabilities, and hands-on problem-solving skills.


Additional Responsibilities: This position will serve as a strategic and trusted advisor to IMM sales leaders, and both cross functional and CE partners. The Sales Analytics Manager will actively apply new analytic capabilities and seek efficiencies in delivering actionable recommendations, shaping decision-making, and driving organizational action. They will be familiar with subnational specialty data and market dynamics pertaining to formulary coverage, reimbursement, health systems, buy-and-bill and patient affordability, and play an active role in assessing and advising the organization on current and future tactics across the IMM Portfolio.


Key responsibilities:


  1. Design and execute analytics which uncover meaningful trends and identify business insights
  • Leverage disparate data sources to address key business questions and uncover business opportunities
  • Determine optimal analytic approaches to enhance our strategic knowledge of the marketplace and support tactics to increase sales force execution
  • Develop new insights and actionable recommendations while effectively communicating them thereby shaping business partners understanding to benefit decision making
  • Gain a thorough understanding of each type of data to be analyzed which could include various types of sales data, field activity, and marketing program or resource utilization among others

2. Produce accurate and timely subnational analytics deliverables partnering with Senior Sales Leadership

  • Develop intuitive user-friendly reporting raising the level of understanding across the organization of customers, accounts, and competition
  • Proactively identify opportunities for business performance improvements and collaborate effectively with business partners to fully assess situations and opportunities
  • Access data and conduct analytics to benefit sales leaders and increase their effectiveness and efficiency in day-to-day marketing operations

3. Collaborate with CE analytics, marketing teams, and other cross functional partners (SCG, Finance) to shape a holistic view of market and performance trends

  • Exhibit strong partnership and collaboration with Commercial Excellence counterparts in objectively evaluating and characterizing performance
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and demonstrate leadership courage in setting boundaries to ensure that time and effort is placed on the most critical/ high value projects
  • Drive a culture of simplicity within the analytics function to ensure business processes are streamlined and partners are provided resources that translate to action
Qualifications & Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience in business analytics, forecasting, sales, market research, marketing, business intelligence, strategic planning, or management consulting.

  • Ability to work with complex data sets, integrate multiple sources of information is required

  • Experience with Tableau and sales automation systems preferred

  • Experience translating analytics and insights into actionable recommendations

  • Experience shaping and influencing organizational decision-making

  • Strength in storytelling, data visualization and developing effective presentations 

  • Demonstrated success partnering in a highly collaborative and matrix environment

  • Skilled in a variety of analytic approaches with an ability to identify the appropriate approach to address a specific business question

  • High degree of intellectual curiosity; strong learning agility and demonstrated success solving ambiguous business issues

  • Knowledge of market access dynamics (e.g., payers, IDNs, specialty pharmacies, etc.)

  • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • This position is based in Horsham, PA and requires up to 10% domestic travel
