AI/ML Senior Strategy and Planning Consultant
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Strategy and Planning Consultant within the Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Center of Excellence (AI/ML CoE). The AI/ML CoE is a centralize team within Data Management and Insights (DMI) and provides model development and AI platform services across Wells Fargo. This role will report to the head AI Strategy and Governance, which is part of the Enterprise Analytics and Data Science (EADS) organization. The AI/ML CoE has ~200 employees (Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Analytic SMEs) across US and India.
In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in developing and implementing high impact and transformative strategic initiatives related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processes, Cloud, Model Development practices and processes, Analytics and model governance
Assist in the identification of strategic business, investment opportunities, evaluation, and approval process of identified opportunities
Review and analyze business, operational, tools and/or technical processes that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives. Develop position papers and recommendations
Identify opportunities and take initiative to resolve moderately complex issues
Lead team to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, governance and compliance requirements
Collaborate and partner with Analytic leaders, Data Scientists and Analytic SMEs across EADS, AI/ML CoE, Technology, Model Governance. Partners based in US and India
Deliver strategic plans, positions and recommendations
Become an expert in latest AI/ML technologies and trends
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement key initiatives
Be a strategic thinker, problem solver and change agent
Take initiative to identify new opportunities
Use metrics to tell the story and value of AI
Lead funding and planning exercises
Build business cases to tell the story and value of AI
Create executive decks and materials
Manage and run routines with key stakeholders as needed
Create roadmaps and assist with annual goal planning
Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Strategy & Planning
Contribute to large scale planning related to Strategy & Planning
Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
Resolve moderately complex issues
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor
Required Qualifications, US:
4+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
3+ Years of AI/ML or Analytic Experience
Ability to work in ambiguity
Experience with collaboration tools (e.g. Teams, JIRA, Confluence
Self-starter, ability to take initiative and deliver results
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) with ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
Strong facilitation skills including ability to lead, present, and obtain buy in from large stakeholder groups spanning staff through senior and executive management
Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
Experience creating/delivering/managing operational metrics, KPIs or OKRs
Excellent Relationship management experience with business and technology partners across multiple business groups
Consulting experience with leading consulting firm
