What will you be Doing:
The Contracting Director is responsible for sourcing and management for the portfolio of contracts within the IT service line, which will include multiple strategic contracts or relationships. Specifically, Directors will be responsible for
Strategic Supplier Relationship Management
Negotiations
Contract Operational and Financial Management (strategic suppliers)
Creating short term strategy, and developing plans on how the department will support strategic initiatives.
Executes category sourcing strategies including development and execution of RFI’s and RFP’s, documents bid events through correspondence to suppliers; develops selection criteria and drives the selection of suppliers in collaboration with a cross-functional teams; conducts supplier negotiations and ongoing supplier management

Preferred Qualifications
Relevant Experience to include:
High dollar volume contracts ($>100 million in annual sales) for complex products and/or services.
Experience managing contractual relationships with multiple Fortune 500 level suppliers.
Experience supporting internal or external customers
Experience using databases/data warehouses to mine data
Healthcare and/or GPO contract negotiations and management
Strategic Sourcing, contracting, distribution and vendor management of IT products, services, and operations
Accounting principles, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, market and supplier research and analysis
Education:
Masters

Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $99,000 - $185,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
