Product Manager
Double Good creates joy through our product based fundraising platform. Our solution helps organizations raise funds fast. We deliver made-to-order delicious popcorn direct to supporters through an ecommerce platform. Were 260 employees strong and growing.

About the role:

Our B2B2C virtual fundraising platform combined with our made-to-order approach to popcorn production means feature prioritization, scope, and effective execution of new feature development that are critical to the overall customer journey and company operations.

As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, including helping to define the problem space, gathering and prioritizing business and user requirements, collaborating on the product vision and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value to users as quickly as possible. This includes creating effective requirements documentation and participating in the Scrum rituals to enable and support feature teams to deliver on sprint commitments, and gathering quantitative product data and analyzing customer research, as well as tracking project status and mitigating risk.

This role is based in Chicago and we are open to candidates in other U.S. locations.

About the role:
  • Manage the product development life cycle, from discovery to delivery and ongoing improvements and iterations
  • Master the voice of the customer by understanding their preferences, needs and pain points
  • Write detailed product requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria based on feedback, market insights, research and analysis
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews to maintain a well-organized and prioritized product backlog
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
  • Define, monitor and measure product metrics and KPIs to facilitate data-driven decision making
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, gain support for new features, and manage expectations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive Double Good strategy by identifying new opportunities that will help make our solution easier and more engaging for users

Experience & Skills we value:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, HCI or other applicable degree is preferred; may substitute applicable work experience with Business Analyst or Product Management competencies and subject matter expertise
  • 3 years of experience as product manager
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to serve as the liaison between engineers and business stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and a focus on making data driven decisions ((familiarity with SQL and/or behavioral data analytics tools is highly preferred)
  • Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum including direct experience working with Engineering teams
  • Effective communication with a wide array of stakeholders in a variety of situations
