1st Shift Formulation Technician (JN -012024-355341)

Ultimate Staffing is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for a growing Medical Device Equipment company in Lake Forest, CA! This is a direct hire role which provides full Medical, Dental, Vision, & 401k benefits.

The role of a Manufacturing Technician is the perfect role for someone with 2- 5 years of Medical Device experience working in Class 3 Medical Device Clean Room. Also, if you have experience with an ISO 13485 or cGMP manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 5am- 1:30pm, OR 1:30pm- 10pm

Pay: Pays up to $25/ hour depending on experience

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform highly technical tasks in manufacturing of Implantable Lenses (ICL)
  • Follow all applicable SOPs including Production Control, Environmental Control, Good Documentation Practice and Work Instruction procedures. Legibly document process records on Device History Record Forms.
  • Perform ICL manufacturing tasks including lens cleaning, tumbling, hydration, autoclaving, terminal sterilization and packaging.
  • Perform ICL in-process inspection utilizing microscopes and in-situ Ophthalmic testing instruments
  • Support engineering studies with equipment setup and test sample fabrication

Education & Training:

  • Highschool diploma, GED or equivalent combination/ experience

Skills:

  • Proven competence handling precision components. Being able to handle ICLs in both dry phase and hydrated phase with production tools
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Be able to communicate with co-workers at all levels
