Job Title: Financial Officer - Site

Location: Tallahassee, Florida

Are you a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for making a difference? If so, Boys Town has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Site Financial Officer. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial success and smooth operations of our site in Tallahassee.

Major Responsibilities & Duties:

Develop and implement short-term objectives and long-term goals related to finance, consistent with organizational goals.
Coordinate activities of major program areas and adapt and revise strategic plans as necessary.
Assume responsibility for site financial and business systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Provide monthly budget analysis and financial contract reviews, preparing and monitoring cost center budgets and expenditures.
Hire, manage, and evaluate assigned personnel.
Collaborate with the national office to coordinate the purchase or lease of goods and services.
Monitor billing, collection, and deposit of revenues; review monthly departmental finance reports.
Oversee safety and maintenance for site facilities, including facility and vehicle repairs and emergency evacuation plans.
Establish and maintain contractual agreements related to maintenance, repairs, and groundskeeping.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership techniques in a non-profit organization.
Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to lead a team effectively.
Knowledge of financial practices, principles, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management software.
Ability to set priorities, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management.

Preferred Qualifications:
Purchasing and IT experience preferred.
CPA preferred.
