Job Description: Amherst College invites applications for the Reporting and Applications Developer position. The Reporting and Applications Developer is a full-time, year-round position, and starting salary is commensurate with experience. Given Amherst's distinction as one of the most diverse liberal arts colleges in the country, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ways in which they bring value to and will work towards supporting a broadly diverse community. Under the supervision of the Director of Advancement Reporting and Systems, works with other Advancement Reporting and Systems developers to design, develop, and implement various internal and external reports and web applications. Provide solutions that deliver measurable business value and process improvement in support of the Advancement's mission. Help to maintain and expand the department's existing business intelligence suite. The person in this role is expected to work as part of a collaborative and inclusive team including taking appropriate actions to support a diverse workforce and participating in the College's efforts to create a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming work environment. In addition, all advancement staff members are required to support and staff key events such as Reunion, Homecoming, and Family Weekend. These events may require occasional evening and weekend hours. This position is eligible to participate in the College's hybrid or remote work program. All remote work must be performed within one of the Amherst registered payroll states, which currently includes Massachusetts and Connecticut.
