Administrative & HR Assistant (JN -112023-351091)

We are looking for an administrative and HR specialist!

Onsite in Pasadena, CA

$20/hr-$24/hr (DOE)

*Key Responsibilities:*
-Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
-Input and verify timekeeping data, deductions, and adjustments.
-Monitor and maintain records of employee attendance, working hours, and time-off requests.
-Address discrepancies or issues related to time and attendance records.
-Enter and update employee information in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
-Assist with some accounting functions.
-Assist with the calculation and processing of payroll taxes, including income tax withholdings and social security contributions.
-Provide assistance in resolving payroll-related discrepancies.
-Generate payroll reports for management, accounting, and auditing purposes.
-Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to gather and verify information for payroll processing.
-Utilize payroll and accounting software and systems to perform tasks efficiently.
