Sr Mechanical Engineer Power Plant OUC - The Reliable One, is presently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Power Plant to join the Electric & Water Production division. We are looking for an efficient and experienced professional to research, analyze, and lead highly complex projects from start to completion for continuous plant improvement and reliability. In this role, you will be responsible for applying engineering principles to investigate equipment failures and difficult-to-diagnose process problems. You will excel in conducting research and making recommendations for cost saving opportunities while analyzing new technologies for continuous plant improvement and reliability. We are looking for an engineer with strong communication and leadership skills and one who is always mindful of policy processes and safety. Established in 1923 by a special act of the Florida Legislature, OUC is the second largest municipal utility in Florida and 14th largest municipal in the country. OUC provides electric, water, chilled water and/or lighting services to 400,000 accounts.
