Licensed Practical Nurse (Part-time)
The State of Connecticut, Department of Developmental Services (DDS) – West Region – is accepting applications for one (1) part-time, 2nd shift Licensed Practical Nurse position located at the Northwest Regional Center (NWC) in Torrington, CT.
FOR SECOND AND THIRD SHIFT POSITIONS - YOU MAY BE APPROVED FOR AN ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION BONUS: Each Licensed Practical Nurse who is permanently assigned to second and third shift shall receive a yearly “retention” bonus of six hundred ($600). This bonus shall be paid in two (2) installments: In July and December. In order to be eligible for this bonus, the Employee must have completed one year of service in the classification.

Schedule:
Week 1 (31.5 hours): Saturday, Sunday, Monday | 2:00 pm -10:30 pm; Wednesday | 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Regular Days Off: Friday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Week 2 (31.5 hours): Saturday, Sunday, Monday | 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm; Wednesday | 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Regular Days Off: Friday, Tuesday, and Thursday
However, work schedule flexibility is required to meet the needs of the agency.
Will be required to work nights and weekends.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Will be required to obtain an F-Endorsement on their driver’s license
Will be required to travel.

In your role as a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will have the opportunity to:

Documents all care in individuals’ medical records and completes required facility documentation
Performs related residential duties as required
