Clinical Adult Utilization Review Specialist Clinical Adult Utilization Review Specialist: Under the supervision of the Assistant Chief Clinical Officer, this position performs authorization, utilization management, and quality improvement functions for clinical community based services. Responsible for the coordination of state psychiatric hospitals discharge and community linkage, crisis and emergency services, and community placements for adults and represents the ADAMHS Board through various committee assignments, among other tasks. The ADAMHS Board currently offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing employees to work two days from home and three days in the office each week following the completion of the probationary period. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Registered nurse with at least five (5) years of clinical experience in mental health. Valid current registered nursing license from the State of Ohio. Strong clinical skills with sound medical and psychiatric knowledge. Prior utilization review experience. Effective assertiveness and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an integral team member. Good consultative and presentation skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience in Microsoft Office. Ability to compile and conduct preliminary analysis of data. Contact Information

Company Description: The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County is responsible for the planning, funding and monitoring of public mental health and addiction treatment and recovery services delivered to the residents of Cuyahoga County. Under Ohio law, the ADAMHS Board is one of 50 Boards coordinating the public mental health and addiction treatment and recovery system in Ohio. The Board is a quasi-independent part of county government, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board contracts with provider agencies to deliver services that assist clients on the road to recovery.
