Director - Orange County Regional Campus (S1167)

The Regional Campus Director holds a key leadership role, overseeing the operations and growth of the campus. This position is responsible for ensuring effective campus management, enrollment oversight, and strong collaboration with academic departments to support student success. Additionally, the Director plays an ambassadorial role, building and maintaining relationships within the community to enhance the campus’s visibility and impact. The Director is responsible for developing a high performing team and enriching an academic environment that honors God First and maintains the integrity of Azusa Pacific University’s mission.
Required Education
Master’s Degree required (or in process)
Required Experience
A minimum of five to ten years of progressive management/leadership experience
Experience with graduate and/or adult students desired
Experience in enrollment management desired
Experience with regional center/regional campus operations management desired
Demonstrated success in collaborating with all levels within a comprehensive institution.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.
Primary Duties/Essential Functions
Manages the daily operations of the regional campus.
Ensures effective management of all campus outreach and new student recruitment.
Lead new outreach and recruitment initiative development with the goal of increasing inquiry flow.
Lead and mentor regional campus admissions recruitment staff.
Regularly meet and exceed enrollment goals for RC programs.
Ensures that enrollment management staff are utilizing best practices in the outreach and recruitment of new students for the programs at the regional campus, OL, and at the main campus.
Cultivate and establish partnerships to enhance APU's visibility and impact within the local community.
Assists the Executive Director and Vice President for Enrollment Management in fostering collaborative relationships with each school/college and other key university stakeholders.
Responsible to ensure that all federal, state, university, and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines are followed at the regional campus location.
Responsible for supporting and collaborating with program directors/chairs to ensure effective outreach to prospective students and delivery of academic programs at the regional location.
Responsible for new student recruitment and enrollment via the effective implementation of the respective policies, procedures, and processes as directed by Enrollment Management leadership.
Ensures excellent service to students and faculty.
Assists the university in analyzing market indicators to determine the campus’ current and future, needs and opportunities.
Performs additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director and/or Vice President for Enrollment Management.

Mental Demands

Occasional travel to other regional locations and to the Azusa campus
Possible travel to regional and/or national conferences.
Regular evening and occasional weekend hours at the regional campus are required
