Director, Enrollment Management Projects & Strategic Initatives This position has the opportunity to be based at any of our three campuses: Boulder County Campus (Longmont, CO), Larimer Campus (Fort Collins, CO) or Westminster Campus (Westminster, CO). Who We Are With three campuses along Colorado’s Front Range, FRCC is the state’s largest community college. We enroll close to 28,000 students annually from our diverse service area, which offers a variety of cultural and recreational activities. Each year approximately 5,000 FRCC students transfer to four-year universities and FRCC offers more than 36 career training programs that prepare students for immediate employment and rewarding careers. Last year, more than 5,000 high school students took concurrent enrollment classes with us, earning college credit without having to pay college tuition. Who You Are As the Director of Enrollment Management Projects & Strategic Initiatives and reporting directly to the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Success, you will be responsible for the management, development and implementation of student success initiatives and special projects. You will implement Front Range Community College’s (FRCC) student-focused culture through the facilitation of cross-departmental and divisional teams to achieve the college’s strategic priorities. In this position, you will spearhead project management for multiple, complex, cross-department projects. Ideally, you have a passion for continuous improvement of programs, excellent project management and communication skills with a strong attention to detail. You are knowledgeable of and stay up to date on best practices in project management, enrollment management, and student success. You partner well with faculty and staff across the institution to best meet students’ needs. This position will be based at the Larimer Campus and requires a strong on-campus presence, including occasional evening and weekend commitments. It includes periodic travel to all three FRCC campuses, with occasional remote work opportunities. Please note: You need to be a Colorado resident on your first day of employment. When determining the starting salary for a new employee, FRCC takes into consideration a combination of the selected candidate's education, training and experience as it relates to the requirements of the position, as well as the position's scope and complexity, internal pay equity and external market value. Primary Duties Project Management: Direct multiple cross-departmental projects that support the achievement the strategic priorities of the Enrollment Management and Student Success Division. Collaborate with the Vice President of Enrollment Management & Student Success, Associate Vice President of Enrollment & Retention, Dean of Student Development and Dean of Access & Student Connections to prioritize and launch initiatives. Apply project management methodologies ensure initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and achieve key program deliverables. Monitor progress, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed. Manage critical project areas including integration, scope, timeline, budget, quality, human resource, communication, and risk. Direct the development of project plans, timelines, communication plans and assessment plans for each initiative. Establish standardized project management processes and reporting structures for the Enrollment Management and Student Success division, ensuring centralized documentation, transparency, and constructive feedback mechanisms. Utilize standard project management tools to enhance efficiency and coordination. Analyze data to inform project prioritization and decision-making. Organize and facilitate meetings, conferences, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and collaboration. Integrate measurable goals into projects to assess efficiency, effectiveness, and return on investment. Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations of projects, recommending adjustments to remove barriers and enhance the student experience. Collaboration & Partnership: Develop and maintain strong relationships with divisional partners, faculty, and staff to ensure effective project management and collaboration. Cultivate partnerships with Academic Affairs, Student Communications, Marketing, Community Relations, Institutional Research and other college offices to stay informed about new initiatives, programs, and services. Required Education/Training & Work Experience: 5 years’ experience in higher education administration such as: admissions, enrollment, advising, accreditation, institutional research, assessment, strategic planning, and curriculum design to include experience managing projects. OR 5 years’ experience in Project Management or Strategic Initiatives in another field, outside of Higher Education. AND Bachelor’s degree in a project management related field.
