ABOUT US DOH strengthens and revitalizes communities by promoting affordable housing opportunities. DOH seeks to eliminate homelessness and to catalyze the creation and preservation of quality, affordable housing to meet the needs of all individuals and families statewide to ensure that Connecticut continues to be a great place to live and work. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS - Monday - Friday - Full-time (40 hours per week) - First shift - Location: 505 Hudson Street in Hartford, CT - Hybrid position (telework and in office) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE Six (6) years of professional experience in corporate marketing and business development or business experience including residential and/or commercial financing to include leverage financing, strategic planning, financial planning and analysis or project management experience with industrial, environmental, housing or community development projects to include public financing or experience in urban planning and development. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SPECIAL EXPERIENCE One (1) year of the General Experience must have been at the level of Assistant Economic and Community Development Agent. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED - College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree. - A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the General Experience. - Successful completion of a Connecticut Careers Trainee program approved by the Department of Administrative Services may be substituted for the General Experience and Special Experience.
