The Special Education Rate Setting Unit is responsible for the development and implementation of special education rate structures for schools, districts, and approved providers. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Full Time 40 hours per week Monday through Friday First shift This hybrid position is eligible to apply for telework after successful completion of the working test period, and thereafter, in accordance with the Telework Policy. The Policy can be found here. We are located at 450 Columbus Blvd in Hartford, CT. THE ROLE The Fiscal/Administrative Manager 1 role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, supports financial sustainability, and guides a team of Rate Setters in analyzing cost reports, setting appropriate reimbursement rates, and coordinating with stakeholders. ABOUT US The CSDE is the administrative arm of the Connecticut State Board of Education. Through leadership, curriculum, research, planning, evaluation, assessment, data analyses and other assistance, the Department helps to ensure equal opportunity and excellence in education for all Connecticut students.
