Kaelyn Myers is a freshman Biology major at Howard University, an author, and an aspiring pediatrician. She was salutatorian of her high school class, crowned Miss Drew Charter School/Homecoming Queen, and recognized as an East Lake Foundation Tom and Ann Cousins Scholar, PEO Scholar, and debutante. In high school, she was active in National Beta Club, National Honor Society, and Spanish Honor Society, studied abroad in Brazil, shadowed at Princeton Lakes Pediatrics, and completed the Harvard Pre-Med Academy. She also founded FunwithKae, a babysitting business blending fun with learning. At Howard, Kaelyn is pursuing her passion for medicine and equity with the goal of opening her own pediatric practice and serving her community.
