On Thursday, August 26th, 2021, Visa and HBCU Connect are partnering to host a special virtual recruiting event for Black professionals. Make sure to join us if you are interested in learning more about Visa from a Black perspective and their available opportunities!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This recruitment event will be for university students exploring 2022 summer internships and New grad full time opportunities. Target graduation dates between December 2021 – June/July 2024)

WHAT:A unique fireside chat with Visa’s ViBE members (Employee Resource Group for Black employees) to learn more about Visa’s inclusive company culture, gain insights on life@Visa and impact their work has on millions of people around the world, ask questions, and explore career options. Attendees will also be provided follow up opportunities with recruiters after the event.

  1. Is there a fee for attending the event?
    1. No. All of the recruitment related events hosted by HBCU CONNECT have associated sponsors. These sponsors put up funds to handle paying for the venue, food and drinks for attendees.
    2. Attendees are expected to register such that we can make sure you are a fit for the career opportunities available, and to put forth the commitment to join us on the specified date.
  2. How do I get the location details for the event?
    1. Once your resume is reviewed and you are deemed a fit for the event, we will email you all location and other pertinent details for attending the event. Just keep an eye on your email and make sure our emails are not going to your spam folder!
  3. Will there be interviews during or after the event?
    1. The point of the event is to allow you the chance to learn more about the sponsoring company and make connections with their employees and talent acquisition team.
    2. While there will not be scheduled interviews available during or after the event, attendees will become a part of the company’s talent community and continue to be informed of future opportunities and matches dependent upon skill sets, interests and the company's hiring needs.
