Meet Our Event Keynote Speaker!



Ed Olebe

President, Chase Co-Brand Cards Consumer & Community Banking		 Ed Olebe is the President of Chase Co-Brand Cards, one of the largest co-brand credit card portfolios in the world with clients that include Amazon, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Disney and Marriott. Prior to this role, he was Chase’s head of Ultimate Rewards and Loyalty Solutions.

Ed previously served as the Head of Digital for Consumer Lending, where he developed compelling digital experiences for the Card Services, Home Lending and Auto Finance businesses. He joined JPMorgan Chase in 2016 as General Manager for Chase Pay Order Ahead, a technology platform that enabled mobile payments and loyalty in quick serve restaurants.

Before joining the Firm, he led a mobile commerce technology startup that created a digital assistant for in-store shopping. He also spent eight years at Mastercard, where he held several global product leadership roles in Digital Payments and Consumer Credit. Ed started his financial services career at American Express, where he led product and partnerships for small business lending.

Ed received an S.B. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He lives in New York City with his wife and two young children.

Roland Dorsey, Jr.

Vice President, Marketing Delivery Lead, CCB Marketing 		Roland Dorsey, Jr. Roland is a Vice President and Marketing Delivery Lead for Product Campaign and Delivery at JP Morgan Chase (JPMC). Five years with the firm, Roland has over 22-years of experience in the Debit and Credit card industries.

With teams in Wilmington, Delaware and Mumbai, India, Roland is responsible for the end-to-end testing of each new campaign for Chase branded cards, such as Ink and Sapphire, as well as partner cards like Disney, United, and Southwest Airlines. His teams are the key to ensuring everything from the art on the physical credit card, to spend and get rewards, to the details displayed on a cardholder’s statement are tested for content, accuracy, and functionality prior to market release.

Before joining JPMC, Roland managed test and development teams for Debit Card and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) processing at First Data Corporation, now Fiserv, in Wilmington, Ohio, and Bengaluru. Prior to that, Roland served in the United States Air Force for eight years as a Supply and Logistics Specialist. He received a Business Management degree from Wesley College and is a Certified Change Practitioner in Procsi Methodology.

Roland is a member of two Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion councils at JPMC, as well as a member or ally of several Business Resource Groups, including the Black Organization for Leadership Development (BOLD), Voices for Employees That Served (VETS), Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, + and Ally Resource Group (PRIDE), Women on the Move, Hispanic and Latino Business Resource Group (Adelante) and Asians and Pacific Islanders Reaching for Excellence (AsPIRE). He is also a member of the Customer Research and Functional Testing (CRAFT) team at Chase.

Roland is a self-described ‘tech head’ with a passion for music and drone photography. His best life is time spent with his wife of 25 years, three sons, two daughters, and three remarkable grandsons.



David Tinsley

Executive Director of Acquisitions and Portfolio Strategy for Chase Sapphire®		 David Tinsley is the Executive Director of Acquisitions and Portfolio Strategy for Chase Sapphire®. Prior to joining Sapphire, David led Business Card Customer Engagement and was responsible for all aspects of the small business portfolio growth for the Chase Business Credit Card portfolio. He joined the firm through a rotational program called the Chase Associate Program in 2017. David is an alum of the University of Delaware where he completed both his Bachelor’s degree (Marketing and Management) and Master’s in Business Administration while also being a student athlete. Though originally from Tampa, he currently lives in Newark, DE with his wife Shelby and dog Tubby.

Aaron Davis

Executive Director, Product Owner, Card Installment Products 		Aaron Davis is Executive Director and Product Owner of our Card Installment Products including our premier pay-over-time capability, My Chase Plan which recently was named the top financial services application of 2022 by Smart Money. With consumer payment preferences shifting toward buy-now-pay-later, Aaron’s primary job is to build the strategy, roadmap, and set of capabilities that will enable Chase’s card customers to receive the benefit of paying off purchases over time, whether they are made online, in-store, or within Chase applications. Aaron manages a global product and tech team with associates spread across the U.S. and India.

Leading innovation across large financial institutions is a constant theme in Aaron’s career journey. In prior roles at Chase, Aaron led the build of the firm’s first mobile credit card acceptance capability enabling Chase small businesses to accept customer payments with their phone. Before coming to Chase, Aaron spent most of his product career at Capital One leading several innovations including the build and rollout of mobile deposit capabilities like remote deposit capture and the launch of Capital One Cafés.

Product accomplishments aside, Aaron’s proudest career moments are the spaces where he has driven cultural transformations that have made visible diverse people and perspectives. Currently, Aaron is an executive member of the Diversity and Inclusion Council where he maintains a leadership post in the mentorship and recruitment pillars; a Women on the Move Circle Leader; executive leader of the Council on Racial Equality; and an active member of the Pride organization. Aaron’s teams also reflect his views on inclusion and are often referenced as an example of where we are headed.

Aaron is a Chicago native, a POSSE scholar, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and resides in Philadelphia with his partner.

    1. No. All of the recruitment related events hosted by HBCU CONNECT have associated sponsors. These sponsors put up funds to handle paying for the venue, food and drinks for attendees.
    2. Attendees are expected to register such that we can make sure you are a fit for the career opportunities available, and to put forth the commitment to join us on the specified date.
  2. How do I get the location details for the event?
