You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about some of the current job openings at Chase and network with recruiters and current Chase employees.

Meet Our Event Keynote Speaker!



Ed Olebe

President, Chase Co-Brand Cards Consumer & Community Banking		 Ed Olebe is the President of Chase Co-Brand Cards, one of the largest co-brand credit card portfolios in the world with clients that include Amazon, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Disney and Marriott. Prior to this role, he was Chase’s head of Ultimate Rewards and Loyalty Solutions.

Ed previously served as the Head of Digital for Consumer Lending, where he developed compelling digital experiences for the Card Services, Home Lending and Auto Finance businesses. He joined JPMorgan Chase in 2016 as General Manager for Chase Pay Order Ahead, a technology platform that enabled mobile payments and loyalty in quick serve restaurants.

Before joining the Firm, he led a mobile commerce technology startup that created a digital assistant for in-store shopping. He also spent eight years at Mastercard, where he held several global product leadership roles in Digital Payments and Consumer Credit. Ed started his financial services career at American Express, where he led product and partnerships for small business lending.

Ed received an S.B. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He lives in New York City with his wife and two young children.

Nefertiti Brown

Vice President, Chase Sapphire® Marketing & Peloton Relationship Manager 		Nefertiti Brown is a native of Queens, New York and joined the firm as an undergraduate at Wilberforce University in Ohio in June 2006. She began her JPMC career as an analyst in the Gant program in Columbus Ohio. After graduation in 2007, she accepted a role as a rotational analyst within the Corporate Development Program.

Throughout her now almost 16 years within the firm, she has worked in various roles spanning several lines of business. She serves on the Card DE&I Inclusion pillar, focused on providing resources, experiences, and opportunities for employees to connect through community service and volunteering. In her current role, she has the privilege of partnering with key clients and stakeholders to deliver value within the Chase Sapphire® Strategic Partnerships team as the Peloton relationship manager, and more recently expanding within hotels space taking on the Marriott taste of gold benefit.

Nefertiti is a proud and active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, and currently lives in Bear, Delaware with her incredible husband and super adorable dog.



Kristin Coleman 

Executive Director, Head of Employee Engagement, JPMorgan Chase Advancing Hispanics & Latinos Diversity, Equity & Inclusion 		Kristin Coleman is a DEI Director, Head of Employee Engagement for the Global Center of Excellence, Advancing Hispanics & Latinos at JPMorgan Chase. She is responsible for the careers & skills pillar for employees, to support increasing representation for Hispanics/Latinos globally, at all levels of the firm. She manages strategic external partnerships with Hispanic/Latino serving professional and talent organizations to increase career development opportunities for employees through targeted career development workshops and programs, including mentoring. She manages the relationships with internal stakeholders - JPMC’s/Business Resource Group network Adelante and the firm’s Hispanic Executive/Leadership Forums across the globe to operationalize the global strategy.

In her prior role, she led the DEI strategy for 130,000 employees across the Consumer and Community Banking lines of business globally, helping the firm transform to create intentional inclusion in all people practices and drive business outcomes. She has managed global initiatives and talent programs that are designed to increase representation across all diverse segments and promote a culture of inclusion and belonging, also focusing on community engagement through skilled volunteerism, board service and objectives that align with the firmwide global DEI strategic framework supporting employees, clients, customers and communities within and outside the firm to grow and thrive.

Kristin’s career with JPMorgan Chase spans 20 years, joining while attending Arizona State University where she was a member of Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc., a Latina founded Greek organization, Maroon & Gold Scholar, Hispanic Business Alumni Scholar and Cesar E. Chavez Leadership Institute Alumni. She has spent most of her career in HR and Talent Acquisition, leading national teams across several lines of business before joining the DEI organization in 2020.

Kristin is a member of JPMC’s Market Leadership Team and Executive DEI Lead for the Arizona market, responsible for coordination of the cross-business localization efforts of the firm’s $30B racial equity commitment, one of several focus cities across the country.

Kristin is an Arizona native and resides in Tempe, Arizona with her husband James, and three children - Isabella, Gracie and Jackson. 



Jennifer Dalton

Product Owner, Small Business Card 		Jennifer Dalton is a successful Product Manager at Chase Card Services and holds multiple leadership roles in the Pride Business Resource Group for North America. Jennifer is a highly skilled leader with over 20 years of Payments and Telecommunications experience. She started working in the family business at an early age and has been leading and influencing people since she was 16.

Jennifer majored in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Management Information Systems and International Business at Elon University. Upon graduation, Jennifer was recruited by Verizon and started her career as a Process Re-engineer. After several years of traveling, she moved into a Project Management role. Throughout the years she has taken roles of increasing responsibilities managing product, operations, risk, project management, release management and change management teams. She has won Awards at JPMorgan Chase, Verizon and GMAC for complex project implementations.

What distinguishes Jennifer from others is that she finds ways to build relationships with people of all levels, and is both strategic and execution oriented which allows her to build new teams while leading business transformation.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons and dog at their beach house in Delaware. She enjoys traveling and has a passion for Diversity and Inclusion.

  1. Is there a fee for attending the event?
    1. No. All of the recruitment related events hosted by HBCU CONNECT have associated sponsors. These sponsors put up funds to handle paying for the venue, food and drinks for attendees.
    2. Attendees are expected to register such that we can make sure you are a fit for the career opportunities available, and to put forth the commitment to join us on the specified date.
  2. How do I get the location details for the event?
    1. Once your resume is reviewed and you are deemed a fit for the event, we will email you all location and other pertinent details for attending the event. Just keep an eye on your email and make sure our emails are not going to your spam folder!
  3. Will there be interviews during or after the event?
    1. The point of the event is to allow you the chance to learn more about the sponsoring company, make connections with their recruiters and hiring managers, and to secure an interview for a future date if there is a match between your skill set, interests and the company's hiring needs.
