HBCU CONNECT will be commemorating and celebrating 25+ years of recruitment contributions. In addition, the 3-day conference will include personal development, professional development and entertainment activities in conjunction with the DC HBCU Alumni Alliance 5k run/walk on 6/28/2025.

Are there any networking opportunities available?

Yes, the conference has been set up to offer numerous networking and engagement touchpoints throughout the conference and weekend.

What should I bring to the conference/career fair?

In addition to uploading your resume above, feel free to bring an electronic version, business cards and appropriate attire (for the career fair) as well as workout gear if you’re planning to participate in the DC HBCU Alumni Alliance 5K run/walk(race) on 6/28/2025.

Will there be opportunities to meet with recruiters/employers?

Yes. In addition to the free career fair on Friday, 6/27, you can purchase tickets to the VIP Welcome Reception on Thursday (6/26) via https://hbcuconnect2025.eventbrite.com/ The conference will serve as a great opportunity to engage and network with representatives from 50+ companies representing technology, healthcare, education, finance and a host of other industries.

Will there be any workshops or seminars?

Yes and YES! We will feature many guest speakers who will present on the topics that are considered most pressing to job seekers, exhibitors and conference attendings including wealth building, artificial intelligence, skin care, etc.
