The Verizon adfellows program is currently accepting applications for its August 2024 program. HBCUConnect is an official partner of the program and we are looking for candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in the marketing and advertising industry. The deadline to submit your application is on Friday, November 10th, 2023.

adfellows gives you the opportunity you deserve to break into the advertising industry while increasing diversity, equity and inclusion in the advertising market. This is a nine-month paid fellowship and you will rotate around two agencies and two brands across New York City to sample a variety of roles that will help you find your calling.

The Adfellows program is designed to support diversity and inclusion in advertising and marketing by providing a diverse range of talent with meaningful industry experience and opportunities. adfellow graduates have been placed across a variety of roles across the industry. If you are interested in a career in this industry, this is the perfect opportunity for YOU.
  2. How long is the program for?
    1. This is a 9-month paid fellowship program that starts in late August of 2024.
  3. What locations will we be working in?
    1. The main locations are in New York City and Chicago. Participants must be willing to commute to be in-person with the hosting partners and those selected may qualify for relocation support.
  4. Who is eligible to apply?
    1. All Adfellows candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree, 3.0+ GPA, and be authorized to work in the US without the need for current or future sponsorship.
Upon completion of the Adfellows program, eligible participants have the opportunity to be considered for open roles with participating companies. To date, 92% of our graduates have been hired full-time upon graduation.
