The National Office of Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship Inc. is proud to extend (2) scholarships to deserving female students for the 2022-2023 academic year. We are requesting your assistance in reaching women of color who need financial assistance at a nationally accredited college or university. Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc.®
Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc.® is a non-profit organization dedicated to community service, promoting and achieving academic excellence, and enhancing community and cultural consciousness. Our specific purpose is Supporting Women In Need of Growth, which facilitates the attainment of goals that are necessary for personal and professional growth. Swing welcomes diversity, encourages individuality, and offers a haven for women who feel a strong connection with their ethnic heritage.
As a service-based organization, we are committed to supporting organizations and efforts that parallel the goals of our beloved sisterhood. We proudly partner with national service organizations such as the National Council of Negro Women and participate in community building activities that raise awareness for issues that affect our community.
With 50+ graduate and undergraduate chapters, Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc.® has proven to be a positive addition to many campuses and communities across the United States.
The S.W.I.N.G. Scholarship
The S.W.I.N.G. Scholarship is an external opportunity open to women of color who are committed to furthering their education despite financial hardship. S.W.I.N.G. promotes the educational and economic advancements of women based on the fundamental principles of our beloved organization, Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc.®. Our vision is to promote leadership, academic excellence, community involvement and civic and cultural consciousness.
Applications, available by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org are due by July 31, 2022. Final recipients will be advised by August and disbursements will be made on behalf of the recipients payable directly to their college or university at the beginning of the Fall Term. Scholarships can be designated for tuition, fees, or supplies depending on the amount disbursed
