Tucker, GA – The Clark Atlanta University’s Women’s Softball team has been invited to participate in an international tournament in Kingston, Jamaica, July 26-August 1, 2006. SCSU AD & Football Coach get contract extension

Orangeburg, SC - The South Carolina State athletics director and head football coach have both been awarded contract extensions. The announcements came during the university's annual Board of Trustees retreat in Charleston.
Charlene Johnson, who is in her third year as athletics director, received a three- year extension, which begins July 1, 2006 and will run to June 30, 2009. Terms of Johnson's agreement were being negotiated.

The Bowie State University Department of Athletics has announced that Cross Country/Track & Field Head Coach Marc Harrison has resigned, effective June 14, 2006 to pursue another opportunity with the University of the District of Columbia.
