Meet Our Panelists!



Michael Jabbara

Vice President – Head of Global Fraud Services		 Michael Jabbara leads the Payment Fraud Disruption function for the Global Risk organization at Visa. His organization anticipates and mitigates large-scale payment security incidents and data breaches across Visa’s geographies and partner ecosystems by leveraging network-level intelligence and next-gen capabilities. Prior to this role, he led the Global Risk Strategy & Operations team, analyzing market trends and changes in the Risk landscape, sharing relevant insights with key internal and external stakeholders, and re-assessing overall Risk strategic needs for Visa and its partners. Previously at Visa, he led strategic initiatives within Visa's Global Product commercialization group and managed the partnership program for Visa’s eCommerce solution, CyberSource.

Prior to joining Visa, he worked at Accenture in their Management Consulting group, focusing on business process redesign and organizational realignments projects within the Energy and Federal Government sectors.

He received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and holds a BA in Economics from The College of William & Mary.



Chris Danatzko

Senior Director – Risk Operations Center (ROC) 		Chris Danatzko began at Visa in July 2007 working in the Network Operations Center (NOC) monitoring transaction quality alerting and end to end network connectivity for both commercial and corporate networks. In 2010 he transitioned into cyber security and helped the Security Operations Center (SOC) modernize their program. In 2018 he took on the role of Senior Director for the Risk Operations Center (ROC) the newest 24/7 organization at Visa and built it from 7 people to now over 50 people protecting the ecosystem as well as generating revenue, providing managed risk services.



Jonathan Stringfield  

Fraud Analyst – Risk Operations Center (ROC) 		Jonathan Stringfield was born and raised in Washington DC where he resided until the age of 18. A 2007 graduate of North Carolina Central University, with a bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, Jonathan spent 7 years in Durham, North Carolina working as a Personal Banker for both SunTrust and BB&T. In 2014, Jonathan moved back to DC and after a short stint as an insurance underwriter, he began his career in fraud investigations starting as an underwriter and investigator for Sage Payment Solutions Co. and then moved to a government contract as a Cybersecurity Fraud Analyst. Finally, Jonathan joined Visa where he has spent the past 3 years as a Fraud Analyst for Visa’s Risk Operations Center. In his current role, he monitors Visa’s ecosystem for large-scale fraud activity and provides quick response efforts necessary to help mitigate monetary fallout that could be incurred by Visa or its clients.



Tendai Marambire

Cyber Security Analyst 		Tendai Marambire is a Cyber Security Analyst and started her career with Visa in 2013. She started in the mobile banking sector as a Software Test Analyst. Recently, Tendai started a career in Visa’s PFD team helping Visa fight payment fraud by building capabilities to proactively detect Fraud Vulnerabilities. She is also involved in knowledge sharing and upskilling of new hires on the team. Prior to that, Tendai has been responsible for certifying DPS clients and involved in performing transaction research to analyze and resolve endpoint problems within the test environment. Tendai holds a Master’s degree in information systems and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Management Information Systems. When not at work, Tendai enjoys spending time with her family supporting her kids' co-curricular activities.

Risk Operations Center
Risk Operations Center (ROC) provides the first response to emerging and in-progress large-scale fraud incidents impacting Visa’s ecosystem and its clients. Reduces financial exposure associated with large-scale fraud attacks by reducing the time to contain an incident. This is done by providing 24x7 real-time fraud event detection and analysis to identify, disrupt, and mitigate ongoing attacks and help prevent their reoccurrence.

Payment System Intelligence
Payment Systems Intelligence (PSI) team focuses on identifying, mitigating, and preventing cybercrime and fraud threats to the payment ecosystem. PSI scope includes fraud threat intelligence and thought leadership, early compromise detection, and technical analysis – including malware.

    1. No. All of the recruitment related events hosted by HBCU CONNECT have associated sponsors.
    2. Attendees are expected to register such that we can make sure you are a fit for the career opportunities available, and to put forth the commitment to join us on the specified date.
  2. How do I get the location details for the event?
    1. Once your resume is reviewed and you are deemed a fit for the event, we will email you all location and other pertinent details for attending the event. Just keep an eye on your email and make sure our emails are not going to your spam folder!
  3. Will there be interviews during or after the event?
    1. YES there will be interviews set up after the event for candidates that are a fit for current openings. Offers will be made for qualified candidates shortly after interviewing!
