Let's state facts about the different sororities and fraternities and find out some unknown or known facts....I'll start ( If I 4got u just add on, enlighten me so next time I will know)
~The lovely word DELTA means change (coughs)

~AKA was the first sorority in the United States organized by Black women to be incorporated.

~Civil Rights leader Rosa Parks is a lovely member of Alpha Kappa Alpha

~Current Miss America Erica Dunlap is a lady of Delta Sigma Theta
~Rick James is a member of Phi Beta Sigma ( i'm Rick James beeeoottch)
~60% of all Black Male Doctors are Alpha Men
~The greatest basketball player of all time Michael Jordan is an Omega
~Ladies all over the world loved Wilt Chamberlin Kappa style...

The animal mascots are very regional. Most AKAs in this area collect mice. Ones from up north and the deep south collect frogs. It's mainly rabbits in the midwest.
Alphas generally collect things with egyptian imagery. Most Alphas have at least one pharoah head floating around the house. We also hold the sphinx and the gorilla/ape in high regard.
BTW, Alphas are generally taught not to wear our paraphenalia in bars/clubs, unless we are sponsoring the party. Not every fraternity follows that rule.
