Posted By: Hija Chang on April 27, 2012 Find your happy place and marinate in it. This song is that spot for many of us. These artists have influenced the HBCU Community tenfold. We salute our HBCU Kings - Outkast, Cee Lo Green, Big Rube, and our HBCU Queen - Erykah Badu. Do you remember the first time you heard this song? I will never forget the day. I was in ATL in the year 2000. This song is what I took home with me as my souvenir. This is a great classic that helps you unwind, and shake off the challenges we dealt with this week. We salute you Kings and Queen! Outkast we want more of your music. HBCU's need you. But we understand if you feel like passing the torch. Outkast and Erykah Badu were the staples throughout my years at NCCU. Thanks for sharing your gifts with the world. Spread the word about the opportunities Big Boi is offering: http://www.bigkidzfoundation.org/ Check out the tour dates for Erykah Badu: http://www.erykah-badu.com/ Stay connected with Dre: http://www.outkast.com/andre-3000 See what Cee Lo is going to do next: http://www.ceelogreen.com/ Big Rube is on Twitter.
