Leisure Activities: I love performing, practicing makeup skills, volunteering at Mississippi School For the Blind, and being with family and friends.

Career Goals: After attending graduate school for Vocal performance, I plan to be an opera singer traveling the world.

What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?: I believe my most memorable contribution so far to my school, was an event called "If You Really Knew Me".

The purpose of the event was to remind students that the main people we ostracize, are the people we could probably relate to most when it comes to personal troubles. The event provided an environment that allowed people to be comfortable with opening up about their lives, insecurities and other issues. It was the most memorable because it affected people in such a positive way and helped them to either cope or with issues or finally let them out. Some of the students and I from that event still talk to each other about our personal issues. the event was a counseling session and provided and outlet for even myself. I wanted the event to open peoples minds and hopefully deflate some of the tension between different people on campus. But afterwards, I realized It was about more than helping people understand each other better, it was about helping people to heal.
