Building a Network and Audience For (My/Your) Business

Posted By: Hazel Edwards Chism on December 17, 2020 I cannot build a successful business alone. Whatever business you are in there has to be a benefactor and a beneficiary. That sounds morbid, but that is what will happen if you do not nurture the human resources in your business. A business entity has a life of it's own. At the simplest level we have a sole-proprietorship. At the highest level we may have partnerships, or corporations. None of these entities can function successfully if we don't have other human resources involved. Every business has a complex network of players. Can you think of any business that doesn't have suppliers, customers, employees, bankers, accountants, realtors, associations, Chambers of Commerce, Advertisers, lawyers, insurors, regulators, Advisory Boards, Community Foundations, etc, in their network of existence? If you can think of more players or a business that doesn't need a network for success, let us know in the comments. When I say, "I cannot build a successful business alone", I'm speaking from experience. I have tried, and short of making excuses, getting sick, not wanting to go in debt, lack of energy or passion, not sharing my ideas, not realizing who and where my network is; my businesses have fallen short of what I hoped they would become. In the video above I am sharing about a new Networking Company I have been working with over 2 years presently. I am older and wiser now, so this one is going to work for me. I want to share this business with anyone who loves jewelry, is good with people and customers. I think this a good opportunity to test your skills in business development and customer service. It can also be a great source for second streams of income in an unstable economy of lay-offs and a health pandemic. Oh! I just thought of a very necessary player to add to the network of a successful business. Every business today needs to have that link to technology. I can figure things out on my own, but that can take months and time is money. For instance, I have been working on figuring out my "Pixel" with Facebook and My Shopify Store "Jewels Of Promise. I made the above video 2 years ago when I did not have a Shopify store (http://jewelsofpromise-5dollarbling.com). If you follow my page at facebook today, (http://facebook.com/promiseseedmarketplace) you will see I have less that 200 views as of today 12/17/2020. Today most of my videos (if I come on air at the right time) will get 1K or more views during the Live Show. I think it is the "Pixel". I am losing money because I am not fully invested to take advantage of all the Shopify Store technological capabilities . I need a technology person. Well, I think this is enough for this introductory post in how I plan to build my audience and network for my "Jewels Of Promise $5 Bling" Business.
