Shon Hagwood, M.Div. ’97 Rev. Hagwood is the Senior Pastor of the First Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte. He has been at the helm of First Mount Zion since 2015. Rev. Hagwood also works corporately as the U.S. sales analyst for quartz kitchen décor maker Caesarstone that is globally based in Tel Aviv, Israel. He earned his B.A. in Economics from Morehouse in 1997 and later his M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and was ordained on October 4, 2009. Also, Rev. Hagwood is currently pursuing the Doctor of Ministry degree in Contextual Leadership at Palmer Theological Seminary at Eastern University in St. Davids, PA concentrating a focus in Prophetic Preaching & Teaching which will be completed in 2023. Rev. Hagwood and his wife Taryn have three children, Kalon, Kenon and Ethan.
