Posted By: Taniesha Jones on September 07, 2023 The Virginia Beach Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program trains volunteers, age 21 & over, to act as special advocates in the Virginia Beach Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court for children who have been abused or neglected. Virginia Beach CASA recruits for volunteers to meet with the child(ren), caretakers and professionals in the child’s life. Volunteers will provide documentation of the visit’s to subsequently provide the judge best recommendation and resources for the child. CASA’s volunteers advocate to make a change in a child’s life! Volunteers are also meaningful in the office and assisting at CASA events. Our goal is to recruit a more diverse group for volunteers, and we encourage everyone to apply!
