Beginning Monday, October 23rd, join the WU as the nation's first private historically Black college/university begins the annual tradition that creates special memories for alumni, students, and the community. WU starts the week with a career fair. The homecoming experience continues with a coronation, parade, sorority and fraternity step shows, and an old fashioned bonfire. These are just some examples of the revelry that will be included in the week long event. Wilberforce University - a Proud Family Homecoming - Schedule of Events: Mon., 10/23 -WU Proud Family Career Fair, Alumni Multiplex, 9 am; Trap Bingo, Allen Commons, 8 pm Tues., 10/24 - Mr. and Miss Wilberforce University Coronation and Reception, Alumni Multiplex 6 pm Wed., 10/25 - Nubiance Awards Show, Alumni Multiplex, 7 pm Thurs., 10/26 - Pep Rally Countdown, Alumni Multiplex, 5 pm; Bonfire - Jackson Hall Parking Lot, 8 pm Fri., 10/27 - Bulldogs on the Block Festival, Student Union, 11 am; Men's Basketball, WU vs Great Lakes Christian College, Alumni Multiplex, 5 pm; Battle of the Bands, 8 pm Saturday, 10/28 - WU Preview Day, Alumni Multiplex, 8 am; Homecoming Parade, 11 am - with a tailgate; Men's and Women's Basketball, WU vs Simmons College, 1-3 pm; Greek step show and after party, 7 pm Founded in 1856, Wilberforce University prepares students for the future with emerging technology and research programs.
