Bowie State Tracksters Shine at Marlin Invitational

Bowie State University, one of Maryland's premier Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), continued its impressive track and field performance at the recent Marlin Invitational in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The Bowie State Bulldogs showcased their athletic prowess, with several standout individual and team achievements. In the women's events, senior Destiny McNeil took home first place in the 400-meter dash, cementing her status as one of the top sprinters in the conference. On the men's side, junior Jared Holden dominated the 800-meter run, finishing first with an impressive time.

Beyond individual successes, the Bulldogs also excelled in relay events.

The Marlin Invitational, hosted by Virginia Wesleyan University, provided an excellent platform for the Bowie State tracksters to showcase their talents and continue their dominance in the CIAA conference.
