Langston University Rehabilitation Counseling Program Celebrates 25 Years

Langston University's Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling Program celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year. The program started at the LU-OKC Campus in Spring 2001 with a cohort of 19 students. It has since expanded to the LU-Tulsa Campus where it spurred the creation of a bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Studies and the founding of the Department of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. In addition to these degree programs, the Department also runs two federally funded Rehabilitation Research and Training Centers and a post-doctoral research program.
