Morehouse School of Medicine Day of Service 2026: 2,900+ Hours of Impact in One Day

The Morehouse School of Medicine community came together for our annual Day of Service, demonstrating our shared commitment to advancing health equity through action. This year, 706 volunteers partnered with 36 nonprofit organizations across seven counties in Georgia and three locations in Chattanooga, Tennessee — delivering 2,913 hours of service to communities in need. Together, the MSM community: • Invested $5,000 into TAG Academy • Provided 7,500 meals and packed more than 8,300 pounds of food • Delivered 900+ medically tailored meals • Assembled 420+ student backpacks and 65 teacher kits • Distributed 800+ hygiene kits • Created 350+ care packages • Wrote 400+ letters to children with cancer This day is a reflection of who we are — an institution grounded in service, committed to community, and driven to create lasting impact where it matters most.
